Congratulations to all our choral groups who performed on Thursday the 27th of March. Each group performed two songs including solos from Hanah Murakami and Josh Bartolotta and accompaniment from Lauren Lundrigan and Rachel Randall on flute with Jack Santariello on bass drum. In conclusion the choirs performed together as a 4-12 chorus of over 250 voices! Together with the audience our students sang the MCS Alma Mater. The concert was closed with the combined choirs singing Seasons of Love from "Rent". Students worked very hard over the last few months to pull it all together. The audience was standing room only! Thank you all for attending. It was an awesome event.

PARP
We closed out a successful PARP week with lots of reading! Congratulations to all the students who read extra during the week. A very special thank you to author Ben Mikaelsen who spent the day with our students taking about his experiences as an author.
Open House
Thank you for joining us this past week at our spring open house. The students are always very exited to show off their work and the teachers enjoy connecting with you at a more informal event. Thanks also for your support and participation in our PTA book fair. This too was a very successful event.

DMS Community Dinner
Thank you to everyone who participated in our community dinner to celebrate community service. Whether you helped set up, serve, clean up, made desserts, made donations, entertained, played games, or enjoyed our spaghetti dinner your presence and participation was greatly appreciated. This event is truly a team effort made possible by so many people. It was a great evening with over 250 people in attendance! Students from National Honor Society, Student Council along side many faculty members helped serve. Teen Institute and Peace Through Language clubs ran a Kidzone. The Jazz Band entertained. This evening was designed to celebrate our students and their efforts to give back to the community and make a difference in someone's life. There is so much to be proud of regarding the work they have done! Our message is to continue the movement and find ways as an individual, as a parent or as a family to do your part and be a DMS member who is Dedicated and Motivated to Service! On behalf of the DMS Site Based Team, thank you for joining us!
