Wellness Day for 7th and 8th Grade

On our half day we participated in wellness activities.  Students signed up for their top choices and participated in three rounds of wellness having some fun with their classmates and teachers.  Some of the activities were Zumba, Yoga, card games, board games, bean toss, kickball, spheros/coding, movie, photography, coloring, rock painting, geocaching, fort building, and sledding.  Students and staff enjoyed the day as a nice way to end one semester and gear up for the second half of the year!

Food Truck Wars

8th grade FACS students compete in Food Truck Wars.  Each group had to select a food, design a "truck", consider a cost and marketing.  Two six grade classes visited our class and had the opportunity to purchase food from the "trucks".  The Food Truck that had the most capital (profit after purchase of ingredients) won the competition.  Nice job FACS class!
