Each year Veterans Day is celebrated on November 11. It's a day set aside to
honor and pay tribute to all of America's past and current veterans for their service to
our country and the numerous sacrifices they've made and continue to make.
Student’s in my class had to interview a veteran of the armed services; whether
it was a family member, friend of the family, etc. They then had to write a report and
create some sort of visual aid to show what they had learned.
The most important thing my students learned was that it was more than just
another day off from school.
