Author, athlete and neighbor to Marcellus, Tim Green presents to students in grades 4-6 to share his passion for reading and writing. "Reading is weight lifting for the brain. Reading a book makes you stronger in the brain. Reading makes your grades go up." He talked about how reading helps you be a more kind person. He read a little from his book, The Lost Boy. Mr. Green encouraged students to read 20-30 minutes a day. He sent students on their way with two suggestions: find a book they love and do something kind for someone. After the assembly, Mr. Green did a meet and greet and autographed his latest book for students. We are also very grateful for the five books he donated to our school. Thank you Mr. Green for kicking off our PARP week!
