Students in the 7th grade Family and Consumer Sciences classes participated in a service learning project while they learned how to sew on the sewing machines. They made toiletry cases. These were wash clothes that they sewed pockets into and filled with shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, deodorant. The 7th grade students made over 100 toiletry cases! The cases will be donated to Long Point Camp and the Samaritan Center.
