Sixth Graders Teach About Expectations

Each 6th grade class was given a topic related to getting off to a good start or expectations for appropriate behavior. For each topic the class had to create a skit, poster, slogan, or media presentation that would teach the 4th and 5th graders. One class is asking all students to sign a banner in agreement to help our school be bully-free. All 6th graders presented their projects last Friday to all students grades 4-6. It was a great way to end the first week of school! Way to go 6th grade!

First Day of School

Students got right to work on the first day. 7th and 8th graders had class meetings and created slogans and posters to teach the student body about leadership, tolerance and behavior expectations.
